Volby do Komise sportovců IWGA 2022

"Dear Member Bodies,

The IWGA association is seeking one active male and one active female athlete from the WDSF for the inaugural IWGA Interim Athletes Commission (2023-2025). From all nominations from all participating sports the IWGA will appoint the athletes that become part of this Athlete Commission. 

The WDSF Athletes Commision has been tasked with seeking nominations and holding elections for these positions.

In order to be eligible to nominate themselves, athletes for this position you must meet the following criteria.

1) Candidates must be an active WDSF athlete (not retired from competitive DanceSport);

2) Candidates must hold an active WDSF licence as an Athlete; 

3) Candidates must have participated in TWG 2013, 2017 and/or 2022.

Any active athletes, meeting the requirements may now submit his or her candidacy together with a resume and reason or statement for candidacy to the following email address before 21st August 2022, 17:00 CET: athletes@wdsf.org

If you have athletes in your federation who meet the above criteria, please forward this correspondence to them, and encourage them to nominate themselves. 

On-line elections will be held from 25th August 2022, 08:00 CET and will finish on 29th August 2022, 17:00 CET if we have more than one male and/or more than one female candidate.
